See above.
Alright, alright, specifics. I had a verbal offer made to me today by Ford for their product development graduate program. Benefits:
- Pretty close to what I want to do, for now at least
- Good grad program
- Above average package
Most of all, it’s a relief to have a job at the end of the year to go to. After all, that’s kind of the point of the last five years, right?

yay employment!
Man, this is awesome – I have a man on the inside at Ford! =) You’ve got to keep me up to date with the latest when you get there, ok?

I think Zhi would be the man to talk to for this year at least, but sure.
I’m just glad to have a job, though if I get offered an actual aerospace role I may well ditch this one.
BTW Zhi, get online damnit!

haha, no doubt you’d jump at the aero jobs in a heartbeat. You going to have to Geelong or Broady for this job?

Congrats Nathan. Will you be in Geelong or Broady and which team are you being shacked up to? I’ll see if I can pull strings to get you into Proto…:D

It’ll be a bit of both, I think. I’ll get rotated to a few different PD teams through the program, but I probably won’t know anything specific until I sign the paperwork.
You’ll have to introduce me to your connections, mate.

Believe me, I think I know a lot more managers than I thought I would at the start of this. It’s quite good.

I can get you into Boeing. All you need is a Ph.D. and a plane ticket.
